Visitor Advanced Options - General

General Options

Detail-editor width (pixels)	Set the length of your text boxes, drop down menus, etc., in all the windows that can edit and contain person information.
Update-timer interval (seconds)	The time interval in seconds that determines how often changes made by others are uploaded to the current installation. By default this is 300.
Show service-center errors	This is a debug setting when no content is shown inside the Assist portal. Standard this is disabled and has no influence on the main application.

Barcode Options

Characters	Select between Numeric (0-9) and Alphanumeric (0-9, A-Z) options when generating a random barcode using the Visitor Actions - Assign Barcode function
Auto-generated length	the maximum length in characters the barcode will generate (Default is 12 characters)
Barcode expire	Enable or Disable this option to make all barcodes generated will expire after a certain amount of time determined by the Validity duration option
Validity duration (days)	How long the barcode will be valid before it expires in the application

Printer Options

Print behavior - This applies to print reports. You can select here if you want to show a preview of the report first, directly open the print dialog, or send the report directly to the last selected printer.

Visitor Options

Invitee history (days)	Determines how many days before today are shown in the invitee history of the selected history
History purge (days)	Determines how many days to retain visitors personal information in the database (-1 to retain information indefinitely)
Show a visitor’s additional needs at check in	Enable/Disable when a visitor checks in that has flags set up to tell you of the visitors additional needs
Enable automatic check-outs	Enable/Disable a warning whenever CardExchange Visitor closes and some are still checked in
Enable GDPR compliance	Give visitors the option during registration to have their personal information automatically purged upon check-out

Automatic search options

Biometric automatic search	Automatically find people in the record list by using a biometric device
Biometric automatic check-in	Allow visitors to check in using a biometric device
Biometric automatic check out	Allow visitors to check out using a biometric device
Barcode search automatic check-in	Allow visitors to check in by scanning or typing their barcode
Barcode search automatic check out	Allow visitors to check out by scanning or typing their barcode
ID scan automatic check-in	Allow visitors to check in by scanning their ID
ID scan automatic check out	Allow visitors to check out by scanning their ID

Report Options

Custom reports folder	The folder that stores the custom reports
Enable/disable custom reports	Add and remove any customer reports found on the machine
