Producer Help - Using Find
In the Find section of the Data tab you can find the functionality Find. If you select this option, you enter a dialog window in which you can enter a combination of letters or digits to search on (only alphanumeric characters).
If you then click OK, the first element from the list of names that contain the requested combination is selected.
If the first match is not the one you are looking for, you can search on the same combination by selecting the Find next in the Find section of the Data tab. You can repeat this until you have found the correct person.
The advantage of searching in this way is that the text you enter does not need to be at the start of an element in the Data Record View. The search does not make a distinction between upper- and lowercase characters.
With this Find function, all elements in the Data Record View remain visible. Any restrictions to the number of records that are displayed, which would normally apply as a result of what you have entered in the text field, are overruled.
