We have now configured HID® Fargo Connect. Now we prepare a user record to be printed.
In CardExchange® Controller, go to People, add a Person, or select an existing one. Make sure that your data is correct in Personal Details. Then you can add a Profile to the record. Be sure to select the correct one that you have mapped within the Template configuration.
Click on the Credentials tab. If you do not have the Auto Create Credential turned on, then Create a Credential by clicking the + button.
Fill in the information, and click Create.
Next, you must approve the record for Production by going to Production -> Approve for Production.
Check the box next to the record you would like to print, and select Approve to Production.
A new dropdown box will be available to select your printer, which is configured within the HID® Fargo Connect portal. Select the proper printer, and click on the Print button.
The records will stay in the Print tab until printed. If the print job is successful it will progress to the approve for issuance tab, you can then approve and activate the credentials as required. If the print job fails or is canceled, it will transition to the Approve for Issuance tab.
