Locking Records To Prevent Reprints

To create a template that will lock records and prevent their reprint we need to select the option “Skip record when column is null or empty” and create a storage item assigned to the same field storing a value after print.

Then we need to set the Mappings window to store a manual value and make that value “empty”.

This “Empty” value can still be use as a trigger of the Conditional Layout

With the storage item setup properly once the print is finished the field will be clear and the layout will change and the record will not be printable anymore.
