Stand General Options
Introduction
CardExchange Stand is a self-service portal for users to access, upload, and use their digital ID credentials on any device. Several things can be configured in this section of Admin to customize the experience a user will have in Stand.
Branding and Customization
Many organizations like to have a themed experience within the applications they offer their users to have access to. Through the Branding settings, you can choose to show your company’s logo in Stand, set a Privacy Policy to show your users, and create custom color themes for the Digital IDs shown in Stand.
Application Branding (In APP Branding)
The In APP Branding settings can be used to customize the look of Stand. You can choose in the drop-down to Show the Logo of the Company/Organization, Show the Name of the Company/Organization, or none.
Your logo can be configured under Settings -> Logo.
Using Custom Privacy Policy Terms
Under the Privacy Policy URL box, you can define a link to your organization’s Privacy Policy Terms. This link will be displayed within Stand.
Using Virtual Card Themes
Virtual Card Themes is how you can customize the color theme of the Digital IDs displayed in Stand. You can configure different color themes for the other Profiles that are set up to use the Self-Service Portal.
To begin editing the Virtual Card Themes, click the below button.
In the box that pops up on the right, you will see a list of the themes that have already be configured.
To add a Theme, click on the + button in the top right, indicated below.
The Theme editor box will be displayed in the center of the page. Here, you can define the Profile that you would like to assign the Theme.
You can configure the Top, Middle, and Bottom of the card. Select a color for the Background, and select a color for the Text that is displayed for each of the sections. The color picker will let you click on the color you would like, or you can provide the Hex value for the color.
Click on Save to save your changes, or Cancel to discard your changes, and return to the Theme Overview.
Edit Virtual Card Themes
To edit a Theme, click on the Pencil icon to the right of the Theme that you would like to edit, indicated below. Change the values to your preferences. Click on Save to save your changes, or Cancel to discard your changes, and return to the Theme Overiew.
Delete Virtual Card Themes
To delete a Virtual Card Theme, click on the Red Trashcan button to the right of the Virtual Card Theme, indicated below, you wish to delete.
Click on Yes to delete the Theme, or click on No to cancel the delete operation, and return to the Theme Overview.
Display Settings
In the Display Settings section, you can define how the Stand app displays information to the user.
The settings that are available here are as follows:
Show the Security animation: This setting will display a spinning globe on the Digital ID in Stand when enabled.
Show Approve Photo for Other Systems: If you need to capture the end user's approval to use the photo they uploaded in another system, then you can enable this setting to record their approval.
Show Fixed message on First Login: With this setting enabled, you can set a message to display to the end users when they login to the Stand app for the first time. You can define this message in the box below.
Show Message After Uploading Photo: With this setting enabled, you can set a message to display to the end users when they upload a photo. You can define this message in the box below.
Id Options
Show ID Button in Stand: Enable to show an ID toolbar option in Stand for users to see all credentials assigned to them
Allow Users to View Credentials: Allow users to view the credentials assigned to them.
Allow Users to Manage Credentials: Allow users to edit their Profile details for the card.
Signature Settings
In some cases, your organization may want to capture a signature for the end user, and display it on Stand for verification purposes. These settings will dictate how the end user will experience this in Stand.
The settings that are available here are as follows:
Show Signature on User Info: This setting will display the signature within Stand when enabled.
Signature is Mandatory on User Info: When enabled, the user will be prompted to add a signature whenever they sign into Stand.
Identity Settings
In the Identity Settings section, you can request that a user upload a proof of Identity.
Identity must be requested on Startup: This will prompt the user to provide a picture of their ID when they log in if they have not already done so. Once their photo is approved, the ID they upload will be deleted.
Identity is Mandantory: This setting will force the user to upload a copy of their ID.
Allow with released photo: If you have an identity mandatory and would like the end user to log in without uploading another ID after their photo has been approved, enable this setting.
Accepted Identity Types: In this text box, you can create a list of the forms of ID that your organization will accept. This will show to the user in Stand when they are uploading a copy of their ID.
Photo Guidelines
The Photo Guidelines feature allows users to view and follow specific instructions and requirements when uploading a photo. A custom one can be entered in these options. An image with recommendations can also be uploaded to display recommendations in the Stand application when a user signs in.
Edit Settings
In the Edit Settings section, you can give permission for the end user to edit information, upload new photos, and upload signatures through the Stand app.
Allow User to edit information: When enabled, this setting will allow users to update their specific profile information such as DOB, Preferred name, and Address.
Allow User to upload new photo: This setting will allow the end user to upload photos in the Stand app.
Allow User to upload new Signature: This setting will allow the end user to upload signatures in the Stand app.
Allow updating approved photo: When enabled, the user can upload another photo for approval after their previous photo has been approved.
Barcode Settings
Define the type of Barcode that shows on the Digital ID, and what fields are connected to it.
To enable the barcode, set the Show Barcode option.
If you have multiple fields that comprise your Barcode, then you can define the character you would like to be a separator of the data in the Barcode separator setting.
Finally, select the Barcode type you wish to display on the Digital ID.
Next you can choose the fields that you would like to use in your barcode by clicking on the Add Barcode Source Field button, indicated below.
Custom Thank You Message
Enable to display a custom thank you message in Stand when a user uploads a photo to be approved. This custom thank you message can include additional details for the user to know or expect about their card credential.
