CardExchange® Controller Photo Management
Introduction to Photo Management
The Photo Management section of Controller provides advanced tools for managing and controlling photos within your organization. When enabled, it offers multiple methods for handling photos, including:
Photo Uploads via the user's mobile app.
Photo Captures at service desk stations.
Document Uploads and Importing photos.
Photo Management Features
You can enforce policies ensuring photos meet specific requirements, such as:
Photo Size and Resolution.
Quality Standards, such as pixel ratio or aspect ratio.
ID Documents for comparing cardholder photos to state-issued identification.
Automatic Face Recognition: Automatically detect faces in uploaded photos to assist with identification.
Face Comparison: Compare new photos against historical records or official ID documents (e.g., passport or driver’s license) to verify the user's identity.
Photo Approval
The Photo and ID Document Approval feature ensures that all photos and ID documents are reviewed before being associated with a person’s record. This workflow can be configured in the Admin Center to define approval rules, quality checks, and verification steps that align with your organization's standards.
Photo Lifecycle Stages
Both photos and ID documents follow four lifecycle stages within the system, from upload to approval. These stages, controlled by policies and advanced features, ensure that the process adheres to organizational rules and provides a structured workflow for managing uploads and approvals.
