Error starting RMS license manager

Sentinel RMS Version tested:
RMS 8.6.1 on Windows Server 2012 R2.

Problem:
Not able to start the service using (services.msc\ lservnt.exe –X start).

Cause:
In case of Network Adapters, RMS has buffer length of only 64 characters for its friendly names.

Example: If there is a network adapter name whose length is more than 64 characters, RMS might have some issues in fetching the fingerprints and would crash while starting its service.

Workaround:
Change the Network adapter’s name to something which is smaller than 64 characters in length.
