Magicard TWN4 Encoder Installation

All that is required to be able to use with CardExchange is the firmware update (for the encoder).

This is pretty straight forward.

On the link below;

Download the following;

• The AppBlaster utility.

• The CardExchange firmware (in the CardExchange folder): TWN4_NCx320_PRS104_Nano_CDC_Simple_Protocol.bix 

Ensure the printer is powered up and connected on USB.

Run the AppBlaster application.

Click the Program Firmware Image ,

Click Select Image, Browse to the firmware file required (*.bix)

Click Program Image.

Open

The firmware will be installed;

Open

And the encoder will reboot;

Close the AppBlaster application.

The following will now be seen in Devices & Printers (this is normal when it runs this firmware version);

The printer is now ready to be used with the CardExchange software;
