Introduction to Photo Management

The Photo Management section of Controller provides advanced tools for managing and controlling photos within your organization. When enabled, it offers multiple methods for handling photos, including:

  • Photo Uploads via the user's mobile app.

  • Photo Captures at service desk stations.

  • File Uploads and Importing photos.

Photo Requirements and Policies

You can enforce policies ensuring photos meet specific requirements, such as:

  • Photo Size and Resolution.

  • Quality Standards, such as pixel ratio or aspect ratio.

Advanced Features

  • Automatic Face Recognition for image cropping.

  • Face Comparison and matching against historic photos or official identity documents (e.g., passport or driver's license photos).

Photo Approval

The Photo Approval functionality can be enabled and configured in the Admin Center by a system administrator. This process works similarly to the credential production workflow, with stages dependent on the organization's business rules and workflows.
