Disable CardExchange Visitor in Gateway

CardExchange Visitor can be entirely disabled from the CardExchange Gateway. To do so, follow the guide closely:

 

  1. Navigate to the application Program Files x86 folder

    • C:\Program Files (x86)\CardExchange Solutions\CardExchange Gateway

  2. Find these two files:

    • “CardExchange.Gateway.exe.config” and “CardExchange.Config.exe”

  3. You will need to drag the ‘.config’ file on top of the ‘Config.exe’ to open it. See image below

A UAC prompt may open for admin right, Click Yes to open.

The configuration tool will now open with a couple of columns for you to select. On the right side, select Application Settings / ViewModel.My.MySettings

 

Change the value for ViewModel.My.MySettings to True, and select the Save button in the top left corner.

Restart CardExchange and Visitor will be removed entirely.
