The Data tab is organized in different groups with specific functionality.
| Group | Function(s) | Description |

| Options | Edit Options | Opens the Edit options window |
| Find | Text box | Enter a value to search for in this text box |
| Find | Opens the Find dialog | |
| Find next | Finds the next result matching with the value in the Find name dialog | |
| sort order | Change the sort order | |
| Refresh data | Refreshes the data in the data grid (name list) | |
| Select all | Selects all the available records in the data grid (name list) | |
| Edit | Database record | Opens the Database record window in the main interface |
| Manual entries | Opens the Manual data entries window in the main interface | |
| Import/export | Import records | Import records from a csv file into the current database |
| Export records | Export records from the current database | |
| Filters | Level one filter | Opens the Edit level one filter dialog |
| Level two filter | Opens the Edit level two filter dialog | |
| Level three filter | Enables the level three filter for live search on the database | |
| Filters | Shows all the created level two filters in a drop down menu |
